Tenuta Giustini is a family-owned agricultural estate founded in 2006. The vineyards of Primitivo, Negroamaro and Fiano are planted on “terre rosse” (red soil in English) in over 45 hectares in the heart of the Primitivo di Manduria area in Southern Puglia, just stone’s throw from the sea. The soil is rich in clay and limestone which combined gives the wine power and balance. The cool breeze of the Mediterranean Sea mitigates the hot temperature in the vineyards during the summer allowing the grapes to mature with the right acidity and sugar level.
Giuseppe Papadopoli and his son Salvatore have worked hard with small resources but lots of ideas, and enthusiasm. In 2015 their hard work came to fruition when they finally opened their own winery and could bottle the wines with their own labels. Authenticity and sustainability are the values underlying their approach to viticulture and wine making. From the vineyard to the bottle, they take care of every step throughout the production process.
