Sweet Passito white wine
It is made only with the best grapes of Trebbiano and Malvasia sourced from the vineyards within the village of San Casciano in Val di Pesa.
The grapes are left to dry naturally. The wine is then refined in small oak barrels for at least 48 months.
This 2006 Vinsanto is a warm amber colour with golden highlights, a pronounced intensity on the nose with flavours of dates and apricots. On the palate it is sweet with notes of honey, dried fruits and hazelnuts, a luscious style of dessert wine but with real delicacy, ideal with blue cheeses or dark chocolate, with a long, intense finish with notes of almond.
