The Guidi estate came into being in 1929 and it still shows a distinctive character of a family estate with an established know-how handed from generation to generation. Today, the experience of the fathers is joined by the innovative creativity of their offspring: a winning mix that has led the Guidi winery to renew itself and to offer a line of wines that are the expression of the Tuscan territory with a touch of modernity.
The 35 ha of vineyards are located in San Gimignano and in Barberino Val d'Elsa (Tenuta Lo Spadaio) within the Chianti Classico wine zone. The winery is located in Poggibonsi. The Guidi family grows mainly indigeneous grape varieties such as Sangiovese and Vernaccia di San Gimignano as well as international ones such as Merlot and Chardonnay. Their Chianti Classico is rich, complex, yet accessible.
